JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 29 - School Conferences

Parents should not face jail time for missing their child's school conferences. For example, some parents are not able to SEEK out time to attend a parent teacher conference. Also, the teacher is a RESOURCE for the parents to get informed about their childs grades. It is not mandatory for parents to show up for parent teacher confrences but should still be held of high importance and the parents should be highly encouraged to attend. Sometimes these confremces are important because teachers can TRANSFER information about their child's behavior to the parent and they can fix it. Parents should have the choice to choose when they want to go to a parent teacher conference without the chance of facing jail time.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 26 - Cars

I would want a car that drives itself so if I talk on the phone, it will still PROCEED. If we have a robot controlling the movement of the car than we could have less accidents OCCUR and we could have less casualties. This would be a new METHOD of transportation so people could be less attentive to road. There car would also go the speed limit and stop at all stop signs. The driver less car is a smart  idea so car should drive themselves.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 24 - Online Learning

Online learning is not an effective way to educate students. Some students need CLARIFACATION in some AREAS of school. If the teacher is not in the same time zone then it may be hard to ask for help or recieve help. Also the teacher could have pre-recorded the lesson and could be retired now so there is no way to know if the class will benifit. There is no way to DIFFERENTIATE any work from someone else.  This could lead to alot of cheating and work not being completed by the right person.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 22

Felons should not be allowed to vote. For example, they will pick laws or presidents that could be bad for our society and make the economy more complex than it already is. It is relevant  to our democracy but we cant let crazy people vote. The source of this argument is that these people are considered crazy and have done stuff that is illegal. In conclusion, people that have been to jail should not be allowed to vote.
